WSS initiates "SeeMe Bike Tracking Charity-Tour" from Austria to Estonia for SOS Children's Villages

End of May a ‘Bike Tracking Charity-Tour’ from Traiskirchen to Tallinn initiates the cooperation of WSS and OSKANDO in Estonia. By using the Estonian solution ‘SeeMe’ everybody can easily track the bikers live over Internet, where they are driving, how the trip was till then, how many kilometers they’ve already come, how fast they go or whether they are taking a break. Money is collected for each kilometer that will benefit the SOS Children's Village.

As a major launch event WSS will install ‘SeeMe’ into an enduro motorcycle and send this bike on a tour of Northern Europe to the Estonian manufacturer at Tallinn. The tour is dedicated to a charitable purpose and will start in late May. Throughout the whole tour the Internet allows ‘SeeMe’ the live route tracking and the recording of each individual mileage. If and when the motorcycle will actually arrive at the ‘SeeMe’ producers in Tallinn, can be watched live. If the “Charity Bike” is stolen during the tour, the vehicle will always be found through the satellite-based GPS positioning.

It is hoped that the motorcycle tour will be extended over many winding roads on thousands of kilometers, because the sponsors donate money for each kilometer for the SOS Children's Village. The ‘SeeMe Bike Tracking Charity-Tour’ starts on May 27th, 2011. Before the beginning of June the bikers should reach the Estonian capital. By June 10th, 2011 WSS expects the bikers of the ‘SeeMe Bike Tracking Charity-Tour’ back in Austria so that the collected amount can soon be handed over to the SOS Children's Village.
